Why is Central Malley on trend.

Remote working has experienced an important augmentation during the pandemic. Boundaries between private life and telecommuting have become blurred. As a result, the requirements to an attractive on-site working environment have changed. Both companies and employees need to redefine office space and its function. Central Malley could be an answer.

Employees have become accustomed to the benefits of remote work and the trend continues. What would it take to make the office attractive and exciting again? This was the topic of the networking event “Le monde du travail après la pandémie”, which took place on the 28th of September, at the Vaudoise aréna in Prilly. In an interesting key note about “New Work”, economics lecturer Eric Amstein gave an insight into possible solutions and the participants exchanged their experience and knowledge on the topic. The conclusion, also a form of appeal to companies, could be summed up as follows: adapt the working environment so that employees would once again prefer to work mainly in the office and less remotely. Factors such as a well-connected workplace promoting a good work-life balance, office concepts that offer diversity, promote tranquillity and dialogue at the same time, and allow creativity to happen are decisive for employees and part of a living corporate culture.

Central Malley scores in many counts.

Located at the gates of Lausanne, Central Malley checks on many criterias for more attractiveness in the workplace: on an area of 43,000 square metres, an ultra-modern office and residential complex is being built in a new sustainable quarter right next to the Prilly-Malley train station. The premises are flexible, luminous, state of the art and include a pleasant indoor climate. A diverse range of restaurants and shops as well as inviting outdoor areas are planned. In addition, the area is only two minutes away from Lausanne by public transport and 15 minutes by car.
